Keith's fascination with computers began in junior high school immediately after seeing the original Pong game in his local bowling alley. He subsequently taught himself assembly programming and bit mapped graphics so that he to could write video games, and sold his first software product while in high school. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University in Mathematical and Computational Sciences, he worked as a programmer in Silicon Valley before returning to earn his PhD at the University of Washington. Subsequent wanderings include usability at Microsoft, statistical consulting for U.S multinationals doing business in Asia, and an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Washington. He most recently spent the last 6 years as Chief Scientist at Bizrate.com/Shopzilla.com, where he conceived of and led the implementation of much of the key IP that led to Shopzilla's 2005 aquisition by the E.W Scripps Company. Keith is inventor/co-inventor on 6 U.S. patents pending, including that for the internet's first globally optimizing keyword traffic buying system. Back to team
