Clearstone

Clearstone initially incubated Geodelic in early 2008. Begun as a vehicle for investing in opportunities created by the maturation of the Internet and the World Wide Web, Clearstone achieved some of the best results in Internet business model investing, including successful outcomes for eToys, Overture, PayPal, United Online, and MP3.com. Over the past 5 years, the portfolio has broadened to include investments in enterprise computing (including software applications, infrastructure, storage and communications), wireless technologies, photonics for optical networking, chips and digital services, with over two dozen active companies today.
 

In addition to serving on the board of Geodelic, David focuses on developing early stage investment opportunities at the intersection of consumer technology and media. Prior to Clearstone, David was President of M Networks, and before that a licensing lawyer, a business development executive at Universal Studios, and an entrepreneur at the idealab! family of companies. David is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of San Diego School of Law. He also sits as an adviser or board member of Clearstone portfolio companies Apture, Rubicon Project and Soonr. David is based in Clearstone's Menlo Park offices.
 

 

Rob Coneybeer

Shasta Ventures is located in Menlo Park, CA, and has mananged more than $460 million in funding.
 

In addition to serving on the board of Geodelic, Rob Coneybeer brings deep experience in building early-stage companies. Prior to co-founding Shasta Ventures, he was a general partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) where he led 15 investments in core infrastructure technologies spanning semiconductors, software and networking equipment. Prior to joining the venture capital industry, Rob served as a lead integration and test engineer in the Astro Space division of Martin Marietta. While at Martin Marietta, Rob helped build the first EchoStar spacecraft.
